Topless Russian DJ Mari Ferrari “Fakes It”

The story begins, like any other story. Boy meets a girl, is this case the boy is Spanish booking agency Class Concept International, and the girl is a female Russian DJ Mari Ferrari. Boy pays the girl to perform at an outdoor event in Tenerife, Canary Island. Perform topless that is, but in the boy’s defense, the girl does that for living. I mean, she spins topless, which is not a new concept around Europe. In fact, DJ Mari Ferrari is represented by a Russian agency (www.girldjs.ru) which has at least 13 more other topless female DJs.

Well, long story short, the Class Concept International Agency gets disappointed and start crying like a little boy. It was not the body of DJ Mari Ferrari that made them cry and sent an angry letter to the industry. According to their side, DJ Mari Ferrari faked the entire set.

“This supposed female DJ from Russia during her performance at the event was playing from a tiny CD wallet (the same as the one we use in the car normally) an already pre-mixed music set from one or two CDs, and she was faking the movements of a real DJ, when she wasn´t really doing it for real, just acting. All the people involved in the event who were in the DJ box at the time, including DJs, promoters and camera men from Fashion TV, realised that she wasn´t mixing the music and was just making fake movements and touching the mixer to pretend to the crowd that she was really doing it, but in fact she wasn´t and it was purely a fraud. She was just more occupied with dancing and shaking her head in the DJ box and was just too busy with her dancing movements to get involved in any kind of beat-matching or mixing. Girldjs.ru are giving DJs a bad reputation and worst of all, they are making and taking the money from the other serious female/male DJs that are working hard constantly to get it”

In response to such accusations, the agency that represents DJ Mari Ferrari released the photos from aforementioned event. They clearly show that there were more than one channel involved during the set. Moreover, they posted a video on youtube of DJ Mari Ferrari mixing, and no, she is not nude there, for those who already at youtube searching for video (see the video below). The video is only to show that DJ Mari Ferrari can in fact mix. The entire debacle was published by MixMag, after receiving the letter from Class Concept International.

To conlude, Class Concept International is pissed at DJ Mari Ferrari for alegely faking it, DJ Mari Ferrari is pissed at MixMag for publishing the allegations rather than a solid story. What can I say to DJ Mari Ferrari with respect to MixMag, sex sells and you should know that from your own experience. MixMag published the story not for its content, but rather than for a headline.
